Oak Park (Street Frame)

A frequent destination, this park is at the corner of Oak and my street. The “X” shaped path means I can repeatedly walk it from several directions with a different green view each time, but I stay close enough to home to get to the bathroom when the period shits from endometriosis (or whatever else is wrong with my digestion that day) hit- or any other form of physical requirement that keeps me close to home. The trouble is, along with the park’s poor path maintenance, there is only one crosswalk that leads to it. The curb cuts exist, which was nice when I was in my motorized wheelchair, but only one crosswalk to the entire block-sized park. How do you feel when you can’t visit the park because cars make it unsafe?
