The New Hampshire Institute of Art required a new slide deck for corporate presentations by the school president and other departments. The school has a long history of fine arts and increasing influence as a digital design heavyweight. The marketing department wanted something that would reflect that.
Two very trendy motifs were chosen: Flat design with diagonals and watercolor washes. In keeping with the current school palette, the slides were designed to match the Blue, Red and Grey color scheme. Red and Blue watercolor textures were handpainted on Arches paper. Once dried, they were scanned and digitally adjusted to match PMS colors. To create the Grey watercolor texture, the Blue slides were used with decreased saturation.
After presenting all the options, the NHIA marketing department decided on the Grey gradient slides. This background was then made into a Powerpoint theme and delivered to the client.
The entire project took less than a week.
